Family Farm Milk Replacer is a non-medicated feed designed for young animals who are unable to consume regular milk. It is formulated with a 20/20 AM (amino acid and protein) balance, providing the necessary nutrients for proper growth and development. This milk replacer comes in a 50 lb. bag and is suitable for use on family farms. It is an ideal alternative for feeding young animals when regular milk is not available or when their digestive systems are not fully developed. Feeding Instructions:
It is recommended that calves be given 2 to 3 quarts of good quality colostrum as soon as possible after birth, and another 2 to 3 quarts within the first 24 hours of life. Second milking colostrum may be fed afterwards for up to 3 days. Starting on the 4th day, feed a high quality milk replacer according to the following directions

Mixing:
Into 2 quarts of warm (110° F) clean water add 1/2 pound (1 cup)* of milk replacer powder and mix thoroughly. For larger batches, mix 1 pound of milk replacer powder per gallon of warm water.

Feeding:
Feed the reconstituted milk replacer at a rate of 2 quarts per 100 pounds of body weight twice daily (4 quarts per 100 pounds of bodyweight per day). Large breed calves generally require 2 to 2-1/2 quarts per feeding twice daily, while smaller breed calves may need 1-1/2 to 2 quarts twice daily.
