Pyrantel paste is an equine de-worming paste containing 3.60gm of pyrantel pamoate in each 23.6g syringe. It is used for the removal and control of mature infections of large strongyles (Strongylus vulgaris, S. edentatus, S. equinus); small strongyles; pinworms (Oxyuris equi); and large roundworms (Parascaris equorum) in horses and ponies. The apple flavored paste is safe and effective. Can be administered to foals as young as 2 months of age as well as pregnant mares 1 month before foaling and nursing mares 10 days after foaling. It offers broad-spectrum activity against a wide range of parasites, including large strongyles (Strongylus vulgaris, S. edentates, S. equines), small strongyles, pinworms (Oxyuris equi), and large roundworms (Parascaris equorum) in horses and ponies of all ages. Each syringe is calibrated for accurate dosage, and the paste itself is apple-flavored for exceptional palatability.
