The Armor Autogenous Respiratory Vaccine is custom made from bacteria isolated from a herd of origin for use in approved herds. This vaccine contains Mycoplasma bovis, Bibersteinia trehalosi, and Histophilus somni. These 3 bacteria are a common cause of pneumonia, along with Mannheimia and Pasteurella. There are no commercially available vaccines against Bibersteinia. When used in conjunction with a Mannheimia and Pasteurella vaccine, cattle are vaccinated against the most common bacterial causes of pneumonia. Work with your veterinarian to determine if a custom made vaccine is appropriate for your farm or ranch. Autogenous vaccines can be formulated specifically for the bacteria found on your farm or ranch. Bio One vaccine does NOT require a booster after initial administration.
