The Armor Autogenous Myco Pinkeye Vaccine is custom made from bacteria isolated from a herd of origin for use in approved herds. Pinkeye is a bacterial infection of the eye that causes inflammation and potential blindness. This vaccine contains Moraxella bovis, Moraxella bovoculi and Mycoplasma bovoculi, which are 3 bacteria that can cause pinkeye in cattle. The vaccine is administered by injection, and is suitable for use in both beef and dairy cattle. Vaccines work by triggering the immune system to produce antibodies that can recognize and attack the bacteria. Work with your veterinarian to determine if a custom made vaccine is appropriate for your farm or ranch. Autogenous vaccines can be formulated specifically for the bacteria found on your farm or ranch. Bio One vaccine does NOT require a booster after initial administration.
